Where Healing Takes Root & Transformation Flows

Are you tired of suffering in silence?

Overwhelmed and exhausted from carrying the weight alone?

Man; Talk…

I founded my practice with a vision; to help men become the best versions of themselves, to provide a safe space where they can speak openly, and to challenge the idea that vulnerability is a weakness. Adversity doesn’t define you. Rather, with the right support, these experiences become the foundation for a resilient future you’re proud to own.

My mission is to meet you where you - walking alongside as you create your own story of growth, strength, intentionality, and meaningful change. My own journey through mental health challenges and navigating a life of sobriety has shaped the way I connect with clients – bringing empathy, understanding, and a deep commitment to guiding them in developing practical strategies for growth and healing.

Is this where change starts for you?

I am a licensed mental health therapist and addiction specialist trained in EMDR with over 5 years of clinical experience. I currently provide virtual services in North Carolina and South Carolina.

Many of my clients come to me feeling stuck, overwhelmed, unfulfilled, underprepared, hopeless, disconnected, and under the weight of being. While I work with a variety of clients, I have a particular passion for working with men who are ready for change. Even if they’re not entirely sure what that change looks like. I feel most connected to those who want space to fully be themselves, without the mask, while exploring what’s working, what’s not working, and what is possible. My best work happens with clients who are ready to take an honest look at their lives, challenge unhelpful patterns, and build new ways of showing up for themselves and others.

My passion doesn’t just stop at who I work with - it extends to what I work with. Like others in my field, years of education and ongoing training facilitated a comfortability working with challenges such as depression, grief, identity concerns, self-esteem issues, as well as anger issues and many others. Over my career, I have given additional attention to what I now qualify as my niche areas of concentration.

  • I work with both chemical addictions (i.e., marijuana and alcohol) and process addictions (i.e., video games, gambling, pornography, and compulsive internet use).

My approach is rooted in harm reduction, meaning we focus on developing skills for moderation, managing urges and cravings, and replacing unhealthy patterns with healthier alternatives. Together, we identify triggers, strengthen coping strategies, and create a plan that supports your values and long-term goals.

  • Whether you’ve been recently diagnosed or have lived with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) for years, I help you better understand how your brain works so you can work with it, not against it.

Our sessions focus on building executive functioning skills like time management, planning/organization, cognitive flexibility, inhibition control, self-monitoring, task initiation and follow-through, while also addressing emotional regulation and self-confidence.

I also work with individuals who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Level 1, tailoring strategies to match your strengths and challenges.

  • Avoidance can take many forms — putting off difficult conversations, withdrawing from relationships, procrastinating on important tasks, or steering clear of situations that stir up discomfort. While avoidance can offer short-term relief, it often keeps you stuck and exacerbates anxiety over time.

I’ll help you understand what’s actually happening in your brain and body when anxiety shows up. Together, we’ll build tools to regulate your nervous system and respond to those physical and emotional signals more effectively.

We’ll also use gradual, supported exposure techniques to help you face the situations you’ve been avoiding, so over time they feel less overwhelming and more manageable.

You’ll learn practical tools to approach challenges with more confidence, build tolerance for discomfort, and create a life that’s guided by your values rather than your fears.

  • I have a particular passion for working with men who want to break free from the pressure to “have it all together” while silently carrying the weight. My clients often include high-performing/earning professionals, young fathers navigating the early stages of parenthood, college-aged men figuring out who they want to be and what they want to do after graduation, to those . Together, we investigate and address relationship dynamics, cultural and societal pressures, career stress, identity, emotional expression, productivity perspectives, and building meaningful connections. This is a space where you can drop the mask, be fully yourself, and explore what it means to live with intention.

  • Unprocessed trauma can keep you stuck in patterns of fear, avoidance, and emotional pain. I utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients work through difficult experiences - from single-incident events to complex trauma histories. EMDR allows us to reduce the emotional charge of past events so you can move forward without feeling defined or controlled by them.

  • Life changes - even positive ones - can feel overwhelming. I work with clients navigating transitions such as entering college, navigating independent living, starting a career or changing careers, having a baby, divorce or separation, retirement, estrangement from loved ones, and profound grief. In these times, therapy offers a space to process emotions, gain clarity, and facilitate adaption so that you can find your footing in a new reality.
